RoboCon New Jersey STEAM Station

The RoboCon New Jersey STEAM STATION is great for kids to stop by and learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM).  Engaging activities, crafts, and more, the STEAM Station is the perfect place to participate in some friendly competition, learn, and have fun!  All events run all weekend.

Fact Wall

Contribute the coolest STEAM-related fact you know to a giant wall of sticky notes

Tower of Terror

Build a tower and see if it can withstand an earthquake simulator to understand structural engineering and seismic science

Mouse Maze

Power up a robotic mouse and learn basic coding principles by programming it to navigate an obstacle course

Oooy-Gooy Slime Station

Get messy with glue, activator, and glitter to create custom slime while practicing measuring ratios

Gummy Bear Launch

Build mini launchers with popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and spoons to catapult gummy bears while learning about force, motion, and engineering design

Out of the World Nightlight

Use ping pong balls, markers, and electric candles, to create your own miniature planet model

Decorate and Go Bags

Decorate a bag to hold your creations made at the STEAM station. Embark on a stellar adventure with our Create-A-Constellation activity with marshmallows! You will design and build your very own constellations just like the ancient stargazers
